Sharpe is an active participant in medical education curriculum and simulation development.ĭr. He is the clinical clerkship director for 4th year medical students rotating through the medical intensive care unit and a phase II representative for Education Council. He is medical director for the Allied Health Respiratory Care program at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and sits on the Board of Medical Advisors for the American Association of Respiratory Care. ![]() His clinical and scholarly interests include severe asthma, pulmonary and critical care medicine and graduate medical education. ![]() ![]() Sharpe received his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and proceeded to complete Medicine-Pediatrics residency, chief residency, and Adult Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
